In a Texas federal court, Arizona resident Jacqueline McAferty is suing Elon Musk and his pro-Trump America PAC for fraud, alleging that the $1 million-a-day lottery to registered voters in swing states was predetermined, not random as claimed. The lawsuit, filed in Austin, was spurred by Musk’s legal defense in a Philadelphia case where a former treasurer of the PAC testified that winners were pre-selected. McAferty accuses Musk of fraud and breach of contract, claiming the lottery was a scheme to collect personal data without limitations on its use.
