Edmontonians oppose and support proposed rules for public behaviour

More than 50 people shared conflicting opinions with Edmonton city councillors during a meeting on Monday regarding a proposed public spaces bylaw that would ban various behaviors. Issues raised included concerns about harm to homeless individuals and limits to freedom of expression. The decision on whether to proceed with the current version of the bylaw was not made by print deadline.
