Nelson standoff: Phillip Mant jailed for 5 years over hostage and bomb threat

The woman held hostage for 15 hours during a standoff with Phillip Clinton Mant recounted her terrifying experience, while her 80-year-old father feared for her life as he was forced on the floor. Mant, fixated on a Family Court issue, was sentenced to five years and two months in prison after admitting to multiple charges related to the incident in Nelson last August.
