Dubai Taxi Company (DTC), a leading provider of comprehensive mobility solutions in Dubai, has entered into a strategic partnership with ENOC Group to equip its extensive fleet of 7,800 vehicles with mobile, secure, and automated refueling services.
The collaboration aims to improve the operational efficiency of the fleet, reduce costs, provide detailed data, and enhance refueling operations with advanced services enhanced by artificial intelligence.
The agreement was signed by HE Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ENOC, and Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi, at ENOC headquarters in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
As per the agreement, ENOC will offer refueling services for all Dubai Taxi fleet vehicles, including taxis, airport taxis, limousines, and delivery bikes. Additionally, the agreement includes providing fuel delivery services for school buses during off-peak hours at designated company bus stops via eLink mobile stations.
By utilizing cutting-edge systems in fueling operations, Dubai Taxi aims to achieve maximum cost efficiency. Real-time data access enables the analysis of fuel volume and consumption, leading to improved key performance indicators such as mileage, engine revolutions, vehicle usage, fuel efficiency, and other operational metrics.
Growing Strategic Partnership
Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi emphasized that the agreement signifies a significant milestone in the expanding strategic partnership with ENOC Group. It demonstrates DTC’s ongoing collaboration to deliver innovative and advanced services to efficiently refuel the company’s extensive fleet.
Enhanced operational capacity
Al Falasi pointed out that Dubai Taxi, as the largest transport sector operator in Dubai, is undergoing sustainable growth and significant operational expansion, with annual trips exceeding 46 million in 2023. This agreement is a strategic step to align with this growth, aiming to enhance the operational efficiency of Dubai Taxi fleet by ensuring fast and seamless fueling services.
He stressed the importance of streamlining the refueling process, reducing the need for vehicles to visit traditional fueling stations, and minimizing fueling wait times. This not only reduces expenses but also boosts operational efficiency, especially through the use of automation technologies and innovative solutions for quick and mobile refueling.
Innovative refueling solutions
“We are pleased to strengthen our longstanding partnership with Dubai Taxi, a relationship that spans over 25 years, reflecting our mutual commitment to operational excellence,” said HE Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC.
“As a key industry player, we provide innovative solutions such as ENOC Link Fuel Delivery and the Vehicle Identification System (ViP), offering our partners a comprehensive view of refueling options powered by advanced AI-driven services.
Providing refueling services to the Dubai Taxi fleet through our extensive network of 198 stations confirms that our collaboration is based on trust, cutting-edge technology, and a shared pursuit of innovation and digital transformation,” added Al Falasi.
Since the beginning of 2024, Dubai Taxi has expanded its fleet by adding 445 taxis. This expansion enhances its wide range of mobility solutions across four key business sectors: standard taxi services with a large and eco-friendly fleet, limousine services for VIP clients with professional drivers for a premium experience, as well as comprehensive bus services and corporate delivery solutions.
