The FAA has implemented regulations to mitigate these risks, including prohibiting most drone flights near airports and requiring registrations for larger drones; however, enforcement remains challenging. Experts advocate for enhanced measures, such as geofencing regulations and automated detection systems, to improve safety as drone usage continues to surge.
