Drea de Matteo credits OnlyFans with saving her home

The Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo attributes her ability to save her home to OnlyFans, revealing that she earned enough money in just five minutes to pay off her mortgage.

Fans of The Sopranos were surprised when Drea de Matteo joined OnlyFans last year. However, the actress revealed that this decision helped prevent her home from being foreclosed.

“It saved us,” de Matteo told The Daily Mail. “OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us. Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids. It saved my home of many years that was very important to us.” She mentioned that within five minutes, she had enough money to repay compass real estate, who was overseeing the sale of her house.

Joining OnlyFans was a difficult decision for de Matteo, as she had only $10 in her bank account and needed money urgently to support her family and save her home. She also needed funds to care for her mother who has dementia. “I did it, but I didn’t want to do it,” she said. “I got a lot of heat for doing it and it went viral, and people went nuts.” Originally, the plan was to create a podcast on OnlyFans with her husband, where he would be seen massaging her feet, as she humorously added, “because you have to add a little something for OnlyFans in there.”

De Matteo emphasized, “Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids.” The earnings from OnlyFans also helped her launch Ultrafree, her streetwear clothing brand.

Despite her roles in The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, and other projects, de Matteo revealed that she has not made a significant amount of money. “People find it hard to believe that I was never really paid very much money for any of the jobs I’ve done,” she stated in an interview with Fox News. She also shared that she turned down many job offers in the past to prioritize spending time with her children since their father was frequently away on tour. Additionally, she mentioned facing job loss due to her opposition to COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Any subscribers to Drea de Matteo on OnlyFans out there? Don’t worry, I won’t tell.
