LendingTree founder Doug Lebda dies in ATV accident

Doug Lebda, the founder and CEO of LendingTree, tragically died at 55 in an ATV accident, prompting deep sorrow within the company he established in 1996 to simplify loan shopping. Known as a visionary leader, Lebda is survived by his wife and three daughters, with COO Scott Peyree stepping in as CEO to continue his legacy.
