Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard called police after workers removed banners featuring her image and the title “supermayor,” at the direction of trustees. The banners were installed on Sibley Boulevard during the summer and were taken down due to unpaid debts to the vendor. Mayor Henyard threatened to press charges, while the trustees expressed concerns about her unauthorized vendor engagements.
