The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed infielder Hyeseong Kim to a three-year deal worth $12.5 million guaranteed, with a two-year option that could increase the value to $22 million. Kim, who played the past six seasons with the KBO’s Kiwoom Heroes, is a left-handed hitter coming off a career season with 11 home runs, 75 RBI, and a .326 batting average. With a strong defensive record and utility role expected with the Dodgers, Kim is the fifth player from the Heroes to sign with an MLB team this offseason, after being posted on Dec. 5.
