Sony has revealed that 50% of PS5 players turn off their console while the other 50% put it in Rest Mode. This equal divide led to the creation of the PS5’s Welcome Hub, allowing users to customize their home screen based on their preference. Sony’s vice president Cory Gasaway stated that the Welcome Hub was designed after discovering the 50/50 split in player behavior, with users either turning off their console or putting it in Rest Mode between play sessions.
