Dunedin Jury Convicts Rajinder of Gurjit Singh’s Murder

A High Court jury in Dunedin has convicted 35-year-old Rajinder of murdering Gurjit Singh, a prominent member of the local Indian community. The verdict was delivered about 24 hours after deliberations. Singh was discovered outside his Pine Hill residence on January 26, 2024, with 46 stab or slash wounds and partially decapitated. Rajinder is scheduled to be sentenced on April 1 next year.
