Displaced Palestinians wait for aid amid the rubble of Gaza’s destruction

In Gaza, hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are waiting for Israel to allow entry of promised prefabricated homes, while aid trucks carrying essentials are being allowed in. Nearly one million Palestinians are living in substandard conditions, resorting to makeshift shelters. Heavy machinery is needed to clear rubble and start rebuilding efforts in the heavily damaged Gaza Strip.
