Delta flight clips another plane on taxiway at Atlanta airport, knocks off smaller plane’s tail

Delta Air Lines Flight 295, en route to Tokyo, clipped the tail off Endeavor Air Flight 5526, bound for Louisiana, on a taxiway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The incident occurred as Delta’s wingtip hit Endeavor’s tail during taxiing for takeoff, according to officials from the Federal Aviation Administration and Delta. No injuries were reported, but the smaller plane’s tail was completely torn off in the collision.
