Part of Delta Air Lines 737’s wing breaks off during flight

The FAA is investigating a Delta Air Lines flight after a flap on a Boeing 737’s wing partially broke off during its approach to Austin, Texas. Passengers reported turbulence, and video footage showed the flap dangling; fortunately, all 68 on board, including 62 passengers, were unharmed, and Delta has taken the aircraft out of service for maintenance.
