Mother: Texas A&M student’s phone found in woods
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The mother of Texas A&M University student Brianna Aguilera, who was found dead after a tailgate event, disputes the police’s ruling of accidental death or suicide, claiming her daughter’s phone was discovered in a purse thrown into the woods. Stephanie Rodriguez alleges that there was a fight prior to Aguilera’s death and that her daughter would not have jumped from a 17-story building. Rodriguez suspects foul play and questions the behavior of Aguilera’s friends. The Austin Police Department states there is no evidence of criminal circumstances, but the investigation remains open.
