Gaza aid trucks rushed by desperate and hungry crowds, WFP says

Crowds of desperate civilians in Gaza rushed to aid trucks from the World Food Programme (WFP) amid escalating hunger and chaos, as 77 trucks carrying flour were brought into the area after an 11-week blockade was partially lifted. WFP reported that aid distribution was hindered by the urgent needs of the population, with only over 10% of the daily food requirements being met, leading to calls for better management of aid delivery. As Israeli air strikes continue, humanitarian conditions worsen, with reports of high malnutrition rates and overwhelmed medical facilities treating primarily children with trauma injuries.
