The music for the upcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash, composed by Simon Franglen, took an impressive seven years to complete, resulting in 1,907 pages of orchestral score and the creation of new instruments for Pandora’s inhabitants. Franglen noted that the film features four times as much music as a typical Hollywood production, with almost its entire 195-minute runtime filled with score. He completed his final cue just five days before the film’s delivery, as director James Cameron was making edits until the last moment.
