Australia batter Smith passes 10,000 Test runs

Australian batter Steve Smith reached the milestone of 10,000 Test runs during the first day of Australia’s match against Sri Lanka. Smith, who is the fourth Australian to achieve this feat, reached the milestone by nudging his first delivery for a single. With 64 not out at tea in Galle, Smith expressed his relief at reaching the milestone and became the 15th batter overall to reach 10,000 Test runs.
