Incident Involving Jack MacKenzie
Police Scotland are investigating an incident where Aberdeen’s Jack MacKenzie was injured by a seat thrown by a fan during a match against Dundee United, resulting in a serious facial injury. The piece of plastic was thrown from the upper deck as United fans celebrated their victory, and while MacKenzie is reported to be “OK,” the police have not yet identified any suspects or made arrests. Superintendent Ray Birnie condemned the act as “mindless” and urged witnesses to come forward with information or footage to help trace the perpetrator.
