Glasgow band Kai Reesu has won the 2025 Scottish Album of the Year award for their debut album ‘Kompromat vol.i’, recognized for its bold blend of jazz, hip-hop, psychedelia, and grime. The award, which includes a £20,000 prize, was presented at a ceremony in Dundee. Additionally, KT Tunstall’s debut album ‘Eye to the Telescope’ received the Modern Scottish Classic award during the event’s 14th year.
