Cyclone Zelia ‘still packing punch’ as it weakens and moves inland

Tropical Cyclone Zelia made landfall near Port Hedland as a category 4 storm, with winds of up to 220km/h and heavy rainfall. As it weakens to a category 3 storm, the cyclone continues to pose a threat with expected heavy rainfalls of 150 to 200mm across Western Australia. Emergency services are preparing for potential flooding, with residents urged to stay indoors and avoid complacency in the aftermath of the cyclone.
