A fire broke out at the luxury five-star Chiltern Firehouse hotel in central London, prompting the evacuation of about 100 people. The blaze, located in ducting leading from the ground floor to the roof, also affected a plant room at roof level. Approximately 125 firefighters from various stations were called to the scene to tackle the fire, with the cause still unknown.
