Teenager Braxton Sorensen-McGee made an impressive Test debut for New Zealand’s Black Ferns, scoring two tries in their 38-12 victory over Australia in the Pacific Four Series. The Black Ferns established a strong lead with Ayesha Leti-I’iga’s two tries and a score from Sorensen-McGee, before the Wallaroos attempted a comeback with two tries of their own. This win marked New Zealand’s 28th consecutive Test victory against their trans-Tasman rivals, as Sorensen-McGee also contributed to the Blues’ Super Rugby Aupiki title defense this year.
