Grand National: Broadway Boy to return home after fall while leading race

Broadway Boy, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, will return home after a heavy fall during the Grand National at Aintree, where he was leading when he fell at Valentine’s Brook. Willy Twiston-Davies expressed gratitude for the support and care from vets, stating that Broadway Boy is being transported home, though he is described as “stiff and sore.” Following the race, both Broadway Boy and another horse, Celebre D’Allen, were assessed by vets; Celebre D’Allen remained overnight at Aintree for observation but is expected to be fine.
