Verstappen liking Lawson 'panic' post 'speaks for itself'

Max Verstappen responded to Red Bull’s decision to demote Liam Lawson by liking a social media comment calling the move “a panic move” and “close to bullying.” Verstappen stated that his social media response “speaks for itself” and declined to elaborate further publicly. Other F1 drivers, including Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly, also liked the post criticizing Red Bull. Lawson struggled with the handling of the Red Bull car and was demoted after failing to make progress in races. Yuki Tsunoda, who replaced Lawson, expressed confidence in his ability to perform well in the Red Bull car. Lawson, on the other hand, is determined to prove himself in Formula 1 and is focused on driving fast to secure his future in the sport.
