A 68-year-old British man, Ashraf Qarmar Parvez, was shot and killed during a robbery attempt in Tema, Ghana, while trying to prevent the theft of his phone. The assailants, part of a group of six who fled on motorbikes, are being sought by local authorities. A spent 9mm bullet shell was found at the scene, and police are interviewing witnesses as part of their investigation. The UK Foreign Office is assisting Parvez’s family amid growing security concerns in the area.
