Actor and comedian Russell Brand has been granted bail after facing accusations of two additional sex offences, including rape.
During a brief video link hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Brand confirmed his identity but did not engage further, appearing from the US. He previously denied multiple charges related to offences against four women between 1999 and 2005. The new allegations involve a rape and a sexual assault in London in 2009, according to court documents.
