A rescue operation is currently underway in Mozambique due to severe flooding that has impacted nearly 700,000 individuals in the central and southern regions of the country.
The flooding, caused by weeks of torrential rain, has led to temporary shelters for many and significant destruction of infrastructure.
Tragically, over 100 deaths have been reported, with many others still unaccounted for.
