Uniforms for Canadian curling athletes, designed for upcoming international events including the Olympics and Paralympics in Italy, were unveiled in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The designs, created by multidisciplinary 2-Spirit Anishinaabe/Cree artist Shelby Gagnon in collaboration with Regina-based designer Steph Schmidt, incorporate meaningful imagery inspired by nature, Indigenous Peoples, and the Maple Leaf.
