Cuba vows to defend against aggression following U.S. boat clash

Cuba’s government announced it killed four men and captured six after they allegedly attempted an armed infiltration from a Florida-registered boat. President Miguel Díaz-Canel declared that Cuba will defend itself against any terrorist threats. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that an independent investigation will be conducted to verify Cuba’s claims. Some of the detained men were reportedly linked to paramilitary groups opposed to the Cuban regime.
