Pope Francis to be discharged from hospital on Sunday

Pope Francis, who has been battling double pneumonia for over five weeks, will be discharged from Rome’s Gemelli hospital on Sunday after experiencing two critical episodes. Despite never being intubated, the 88-year-old Pope remained alert and oriented throughout his stay. He will now require two months of rest at the Vatican following his release.
