Manchester City forward Lauren Hemp will miss England’s upcoming friendlies against the United States and Switzerland after undergoing knee surgery. The 24-year-old, who has been in top form in the Women’s Super League, will be joined on the sidelines by Manchester United midfielder Ella Toone, who is out with a calf injury. The Lionesses will face the USA at Wembley Stadium on 30 November before taking on Switzerland in Sheffield on 3 December as they prepare for Euro 2025.
