Police watchdog complains to Ofcom over BBC's Panorama on Chris Kaba

A police watchdog has complained to Ofcom over an episode of Panorama about the shooting of Chris Kaba. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) sought a public apology from the BBC for not including its statement in response to claims made by former regional director Sal Naseem; the BBC deemed the matter resolved after amending the online content. Kaba was shot dead in September 2022 after attempting to escape a police stop in south London.
