One of Jacob Zuma’s daughters, Nkosazana Zuma-Mncube, has filed a criminal complaint against her sister, MP Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, for allegedly recruiting men to fight for Russian mercenaries in the Russia-Ukraine war under false pretenses. The men were promised jobs as bodyguards for Zuma’s political party, Mkhonto Wesizwe. With high unemployment in South Africa, these vulnerabilities have been exploited, and Zuma-Sambudla is already facing terrorism-related charges from past social media comments. Zuma-Mncube stated she felt a “moral obligation” to take action amid the ongoing legal troubles surrounding her sister.
