Gang who used Grindr to rob victims jailed

Five men, including Wasim Omar, Mohammed Sharif, and Ali Hassan, have been jailed for using Grindr to target and rob men in Birmingham and Derby. The gang lured victims into meetings before assaulting them and stealing their belongings, resulting in long-lasting consequences for the victims. Victims were encouraged to meet under false pretenses, leading to armed attacks and thefts totaling £100,000 over a 10-month period.
