Shaun Murphy secured his second Masters title by defeating Kyren Wilson 10-7 after a strong fightback. Wilson narrowed the gap to just one frame at 8-7 with breaks of 95, 78, and 65, but Murphy held his nerve to clinch victory with a valuable 55 break. Murphy’s dominant performance, including a 147 maximum break, highlighted his resurgence in form and partnership with Peter Ebdon, earning him the largest winning cheque of his career and joy as the 12th multiple Masters champion.
