Former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus was named the new defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, replacing Mike Zimmer. Eberflus previously worked with the Cowboys as a linebackers coach and pass game coordinator from 2011-17. He will be tasked with improving the Cowboys’ defense, which struggled in the 2024 season, finishing near the bottom in total yards and points allowed.
