Members of the public provided information that led to her discovery, and officers confirmed she is alive, safe, and well, living in another part of the country. This marks the resolution of one of the force’s longest-running missing person cases, with Detective Sergeant Jenna Shaw expressing delight at finally finding Sheila after more than five decades.
