A Thai court has accepted a petition from senators that accuse the PM of dishonesty and breaching ethical standards.

Thailand’s Constitutional Court has suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra amid an ethics investigation over a leaked phone call with former Cambodian leader Hun Sen, as domestic outrage grows and her coalition shrinks. The Pheu Thai Party faces declining support, with Paetongtarn’s approval rating dropping significantly, while her father, Thaksin, confronts legal challenges as well.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: Thailand’s Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, has been put on hold from her job because some senators say she was not honest and broke rules after a private phone call with a leader from Cambodia got leaked, causing a lot of people to be upset and ask for her to step down.
