Nine semifinalists from the coach category, including Super Bowl-winning head coaches Tom Coughlin, Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, and George Seifert, have been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, with only one finalist to be named. The Coach Blue-Ribbon Committee will choose one finalist from the group of semifinalists to be considered for enshrinement in 2025, with a virtual meeting scheduled for November 19. In total, 20 finalists will be debated by the selection committee for possible induction, including 15 modern-era players, three seniors, one coach, and one contributor, with between four and eight new members expected to be selected.
