Cops start seizing imported Tesla Cybertrucks that are banned in the UK because they are not road legal

Police in Greater Manchester seized a banned Tesla Cybertruck worth £77,000 due to concerns over pedestrian safety, as the vehicle is not road legal in the UK. The driver, a UK resident with a foreign-registered and insured vehicle, was stopped and the Cybertruck was seized under the Road Traffic Act. The vehicle’s design, weight, and lack of conformity with UK safety laws led to its ban from British roads and potential scrapping or auction if proof of ownership and correct insurance is not provided within 14 days.
