BREAKINGBREAKING,
Rights observers have condemned aid scheme for bypassing UN, deadly attacks at distribution sites.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is ending its operations in Gaza, amid controversy over its bypassing of UN aid infrastructure and deadly violence at distribution sites. Launched in May 2025, GHF faced criticism from UN experts who reported numerous fatalities at its sites and condemned its approach as a violation of international law. Citing the recent ceasefire and new aid coordination efforts, GHF claims its mission succeeded in demonstrating an alternative aid model. It will remain a registered NGO, ready to respond to future humanitarian needs.
