Contractors renovating a home in Ollala, Washington, discovered a case containing ten military-style hand grenades packed with TNT, prompting a bomb squad response and the temporary closure of a nearby road. The homeowners, who were not living in the property, were alerted by the contractors and subsequently contacted 911. An explosive ordnance team from Naval Submarine Base Bangor secured the grenades and other explosives. The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is investigating how the devices ended up on the property.
