A 33-year-old Connecticut woman, Kristen Hogan, was arrested for allegedly poisoning her estranged husband with antifreeze during a custody dispute over their child. Hogan admitted to adding ethylene glycol to her husband’s wine and iced tea as revenge for perceived mental abuse, with the husband speculating that her motive was to gain ownership of their home and full custody of their child; she is currently held on a $1 million bond.
