The U.S. Coast Guard is actively searching for survivors after a military strike on Tuesday targeted three suspected narco-trafficking vessels in the Eastern Pacific, allegedly operated by terrorist organizations. Three individuals were killed on one vessel, while the others abandoned ship before the vessels were sunk. A HC-130J aircraft was deployed to cover over 1,000 nautical miles in the search, which has included more than 65 hours of coordinated efforts. As of Friday, the number of survivors remains unclear following the strikes that killed five suspected narco-terrorists.
