Ukraine has agreed to a major minerals deal with the US, with terms including the creation of an investment fund for Ukraine’s reconstruction and the US owning a portion of the fund. Despite hopes for US security guarantees, none have been agreed upon yet. The deal is set to be signed on Friday during President Zelensky’s visit to Washington, with Ukraine possessing significant reserves of graphite, titanium, lithium, and rare earth minerals.
