Littler hits nine-darter as he wins Cardiff final

Teenager Luke Littler won night seven of Premier League Darts in Cardiff by hitting a nine-darter and defeating Michael van Gerwen with an average of 112.5. Littler’s victory puts him six points clear at the top of the table, practically guaranteeing his place in the play-offs at the O2 Arena in May. The Premier League Darts format includes 16 weeks of league stage matches, with the top four players progressing to the play-off night at London’s O2 Arena on 23 May.
