Mali Closes Schools and Universities Amid Fuel Crisis

Mali has suspended all schools and universities nationwide until 9 November due to a severe fuel shortage caused by a blockade from Islamist insurgents. The crisis has led to long queues at petrol stations, disrupted electricity supply, and prompted the US Embassy to evacuate non-essential staff amid growing security concerns under the ruling military junta.
