The young cast of Alex Garland’s film Warfare bonded quickly during a three-week military bootcamp to portray a US military unit in Iraq in 2006. They learned military skills, shaved their heads, and got tattoos to boost trust and familiarity. Actor Poulter plays Captain Eric in the film, where a surveillance mission goes wrong with devastating consequences.
