44 crates – lost for decades – were unsealed. Inside was a fair dreamed up by art legends

44 crates containing Luna Luna, the world’s first art funfair dreamed up by André Heller in the 1970s, were unsealed after being lost for decades. Attractions included a carousel by Keith Haring and a Ferris wheel by Jean-Michel Basquiat. American entrepreneur Michael Goldberg rediscovered Luna Luna and, with the help of investors including rapper Drake, restored the fair for a grand reopening at The Shed in New York.
